Thanks, this will come in very handy when I get married. It will save me quite a bit of money!

The idea is good, but Illustrator and Photoshop are expensive programs and typically not worth the price for casual users. There are plenty of alternatives good enough for this task, and they don’t have the steep price tag or learning curve. Sure, people can use a 30 day trial, but since this is about saving money why not give an example with free or low cost alternatives?

I am so happy I found this page – with no prior Photoshop experience I was able to create my own gorgeous wedding invitations exactly the way I wanted them. They look professional-quality on my monitor and I can’t wait for my order to arrive! Thank you so much for money saved and skills learned!!

I love Illustrator and Photoshop, but like Rene mentioned above, it can be costly. As a free alternative, check out Inkscape, and open source program comparable to Illustrator:

I just used this program to create my own wedding invitations, and just last night ordered them through vistaprint.com.
